Close to Vijayawada, I came from
With 'Mikkilineni' as the last name!
Off-spring of a reputed family
With virtues of honesty and modesty!

Elder brother to only sister
Only son to my beloved parents!
Scraped through the initial ups and downs
Earned national acclaim in many activities!

Ventured into the professional career
Created niche among many a peer!
After a long romance with the Indian capital
Set the foot in Sept 2002, on the US soil!

Bad days didn't break back-bone
Rather strengthened mental frame!
